Earth Day event to be at River Bend Nature Center April 20

The 82nd Civil Engineering Squadron will be passing out Earth Day-related supplies on April 20 at the River Bend Center from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. to commemorate Earth Day.

Earth Day will be celebrated around the Air Force on April 22.
 
"Anybody can show up," said Darcas Pena, 82nd Civil Engineering Squadron DS2 Earth Day point of contact. "It's informative for all ages."

Pena also sees this event as a part of the bigger effort to help make the Air Force more environmentally responsible.
